Warm and inviting, the Wigwam features knotty pine on all four walls, the ceiling, and the bar. They have about nine beers on tap and a decent menu of mostly bar food, including good wings and really good pizza. This is just a great northern Michigan bar, no two ways about it. Family friendly.

If I could leave no star I would. I go to the Wigwam every time I come up here and today was a VERY bad experience. We had a party of 9. Everyone received their food but me. The waitress did not come back to see how everything was. We had to go find someone to find out where my food was. The kitchen new nothing about it. She never put my order in. She also never came back to refill our drinks. I finally got my food after everyone else was done eating. I asked for a free or reduced price and her reply was its not her fault the kitchen didn't make it. Ummm no its not the kitchens fault it was yours because you never put my order in. I am very disappointed that I wasn't even given a discount for her mistake!

The service is always great, the bar beverages are fantastic (ask Audra for a bloody mary!), and they have the best chicken wings in The Tip O' The Mitt. The 'Wam is a true hidden gem!

Good music, good food, good service. I wouldn't necessarily bring young kids here as it is a bar as well. Decent selection of beer and spirits.

We were there tonight and had dinner, and sturgeon valley was playing. They are a great band to listen to but we were not advised we had to pay .75 per drink for band upcharge. I think if you are going to have a band either charge a cover charge or have the waitresses advise you of the charge. We even bought the whole band a drink and she charged us an up charge..please really. Won't happen again sorry band.

First time up, was up with a group of friends. Believe we did it right not a go get hammered with the boys bar but a nice dinner and brew before you go down town!

Took about 10 min before anyone come over to see what we would like to drink, waitress took our order, delivered our food came thru once to see about everything and then never seen her again, tracked down the waitress at the bar doing shots with other people to get our check so we could pay, never was asked if we needed another fill up on pop, very disappointed that we were on the bottom of the list of people to take care of and there was probably a dozen of other people in there besides my husband and I!!!!!! Disappointed for sure!!!!!!

Stopped here with a couple of friends and it is a great place to eat. I would go back.

Wonderful food and cold beer!!

We've been there a handful of times in the last month and have consistently had great food and service. Their buns for their burgers are to die for and the server recommended the cheese curds as an app and they were DELICIOUS. One of my new favorite bars!
